Job Detail: Senior Project Quantity Surveyor

Our client who is one of the UK’s leading house building companies is looking to recruit a Senior Project Quantity Surveyor for a new major project in Cambridge.

The company specialises in high quality, large-scale residential developments and has a reputation for building excellent quality homes.

They are looking for a Senior Project Quantity Surveyor to oversee all commercial activities on a new build RC Frame and Traditional Build development comprising 300 apartments.

Project value £40 million.

The company are based close to the M25 in Kent and as such the successful candidate will need to be based somewhere where they are able to commute to both the project and the office.

The role is expected to be project based 3 / 4 days and office based 1 / 2 days per week depending on workload.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following experience and skills:

• Proven experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor for a large UK housebuilder.
• Experience of overseeing a major residential development of a similar size.
• Experience of Traditional Build and RC Frame developments.
• Excellent negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
• Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction.
• Able to commute easily between Cambridge and the M25 in Kent.

The company are offering an excellent salary in today’s market of up to £60,000 depending on experience plus a full benefits package including car allowance, pension scheme, healthcare and bonus.
