Job Detail: Joinery Estimator

Joinery Estimator required for a very well established specialist joinery company in Hertfordshire.

Our client who is one of the leading names in the specialist joinery industry is recruiting an Estimator for their head office in Hertfordshire.

The company has been established for a number of years and carries out high quality specialist joinery contracts in the London area on behalf of leading main contractors and architects in a variety of sectors.

Their work includes high end residential refurbishments, corporate fit outs, banks and luxury hotels.

The company is currently going through a period of planned growth and have a healthy order book of work for 2010 and beyond and this vacancy is due to expansion.

The Joinery Estimator will be responsible for the production of estimates for contracts valued up to £2 million.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following experience and abilities:

• Proven experience working as a Joinery Estimator on projects valued up to £2 million.
• Able to liaise effectively with high profile clients, architects and contractors.
• Joinery trade background preferred but not essential if you have proven joinery estimating experience.
• IT literate.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills at all levels.

 The company are offering a salary of £45,000 plus benefits.
