Job Detail: Contracts Manager - Main Contractor - High End Residential

Our client who is a well established main contractor that specialises in contracts within the very high end residential market in London is looking to recruit a Contracts Manager.

The company carries out both refurbishment works to existing properties and one-off bespoke luxury new build homes, typically in the South West London area.

They carry out work on behalf of high net worth private clients and typical projects involve the refurbishment of homes in prestigious London locations, often including complicated structural alterations and basement extensions to house indoor swimming pools and cinema rooms.

Projects are usually valued between £1 million to £5 million and as Contracts Manager you will be responsible for the management of all aspects of construction activities on 4 projects at a time.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following experience and skills:

•       Proven experience working as a Contracts Manager or Projects Manager for a Main Contractor that specialises in very high end residential work.
•       Candidates who have worked for a well known company in this market such as Robin Ellis or Harry Neal would be at a particular advantage.
•       The ability to effectively manage up to 4 projects at a time from pre-construction to handover.
•       Proven ability to deliver contracts to programme, to a very high standard and to budget, whilst achieving a high level of client satisfaction.
•       Able to liaise closely with high profile clients and their professional team.
•       A dynamic and proactive approach to work and a professional manner.
•       Excellent communication skills at all levels.

The company are offering an excellent salary of £60,000 - £65,000 (negotiable depending on experience and ability), plus car allowance, company pension scheme and private healthcare.
